Safe Under Protection

In this snippet Russ and Debi are on their way to their new home in Corbin’s Bend. Debi doesn’t think Russ realizes just what kind of community they’re heading to and is attempting to talk to him about it. Russ wasn’t worried about the discipline thing in the brochures because their kids were grown and it wasn’t something they had to worry about. Debi has just explained Domestic Discipline to him.

“That’s what they’re talking about with the spanking stuff? I didn’t read it because I thought they were talking about disciplining kids. I figured it didn’t apply to us.”
Debi watched his face as he thought it over. Then he said, “So they’ve created a place where they can live and spank each other without anyone feeling like a freak?”
“I think so. I only looked at a few things on-line because it was getting late and I needed to get some sleep. Of course, after reading that stuff, I couldn’t fall asleep. Do you think we settled on this place too quickly? What are we going to do? Are we going to be able to live in a place where adults are spanked on a regular basis?”
By this point, Russ was chuckling. “I wonder whose idea this was. I bet not the poor sucker who’s getting their ass beat.”

The Fall – Saturday Spankings

Welcome to another Saturday Spankings blog up. Just like last week, I almost blew it again. It’s Friday afternoon and I’m just starting to get my post together. Even after I promised myself I’d set up a few of these in advance. This time of year gets busy for me with the day job. Still, I should be spanked for being disorganized. Nah, forget I said that. I’m cheating a little bit here and making this ten sentences instead of eight. Two of them are very short so I hope I will not be called out for this minor transgression. I believe the rules allow this. I don’t have a lead-in to the scene because it is the very beginning of this book.

“I’m withdrawing consent,” Christine announced as she sat down at the table across from Alex.

“What? You can’t do that!” Alex blustered in his Head of Household voice that he had refined over the past eighteen months. “I won’t allow it!”

Christine looked down at the food on her plate that she didn’t want to eat and wondered if she’d be in trouble after she told him he didn’t have a say about this. Would he think it was disrespectful for her to remind him that she had the right to withdraw consent? Would he accuse her of being bratty? Of not following his leadership? Would he jump up, escort her to the bedroom, and deliver the usual punishment for those infractions?

Spence wants to show her there is a difference between abuse and domestic discipline and just suggested a ‘practice’ spanking to help her overcome her fear.

They would compare notes at the next meeting and move cautiously forward while they tried to put the various recommended steps in the book into practice.
