Welcome to the first Saturday Spankings of 2015! Happy New Year to everyone! I missed last week’s edition. It was a little busy being with family for the holiday and I have to admit I was having such a good time that I never even thought about Saturday Spankings. I hope you enjoy today’s snippet and don’t forget to check out all the others on this blog hop.
Blurb: Still healing from the loss of her husband three years earlier, Samantha Robbins is struggling to get her real estate career on the right track. When a neighbor on her block tries to sell his house on his own, Samantha calls him hoping he’ll eventually decide to use an agent and hire her.
Mac McClintock needs to sell his house. He inherited it from his aunt a few years ago and was hanging on to it in the hopes the value would increase now that the housing crisis was on the mend. He had a ranch to run and his aunt’s house was taking up too much of his time. He hires Sam, but lets her know in no uncertain terms he expects things to be done in a timely and efficient manner. It takes her less than two weeks to cause him to take her to task for an error in the marketing of his aunt’s house.
Sparks fly when she’s given the choice of bending over his kitchen island counter for a sound spanking or having the listing canceled.
After her spanking, Samantha pulls her pants up and runs to the bathroom where she slams the door shut and sobs earnestly over her humiliation.
There was a sudden rap on the door and Mac’s voice came through, “Slamming doors will get you another spanking.”
She seethed at his high-handed treatment of her and refused to answer. Glancing up at the mirror, she saw her face was red and splotchy from crying. Running the cold water in the sink, she began splashing it on her swollen eyes.
“Did you hear me, Samantha?” Mac called out from the other side of the door. He was using his stern, demanding voice that told her she’d better answer him.
“Yeah, yeah. I heard your bellowing!”

Very interesting snippet – I liked the snipped so well I just went and bought the book before commenting. You have just shot my afternoon cleaning plans!
Thank you, PK. Reading is much more pleasant than cleaning so I’m not feeling bad about wrecking your cleaning plans.
Oh no! I predict that Samantha’s bottom is about to be very red soon!
Ouch! I’ll bet she wasn’t expecting that.
Ooh, love the premise of this one, Holla!
Great snippet, well done!
